Proserpine – Alpha Epsilon
Alpha Epsilon Branch was chartered on 16th June 1964. It is now the longest serving branch within ESA Australia. The branch has raised money for numerous worthwhile organisations, including local and State projects during the past 62 years.
Locally the branch has supported groups such as the Proserpine area schools, Meals on Wheels, Blue Care, Scouts, Guides as well as the Proserpine Leisure Activity Centre and some other programs for disabled children in the Mackay area.
Our main fundraising activity is the Proserpine Community markets which are held every three months. Members donate baking, plants and craft to the stall which is much appreciated by the people at the markets. We also use this as an avenue to sell tickets in raffles and the State Art Union.
